[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t was a sunny day here in New England, full of browsing and searching for treasures at Todd Farm in Rowley, Massachusetts. Every Sunday morning from April to late November, people from all over the East coast come to visit this outdoor flea market just North of Boston that boasts many vendors offering all different kinds of antiques. When it comes to getting the best deals, the early bird gets the worm! Things in the field get started at 5Am and close at 3PM. You can find all different kinds of collectibles and trinkets here. I enjoyed combing through jewelry, looking at outdoor decor and flipping through some magazine editions of the past. If you like to rummage, this is the place to be. The deeper you dig, the more you find! I loved how dog friendly it is, and I was able to meet quite a few pals. Along with the field full of vendors, there is also an old barn filled with artwork and furniture. If you get hungry, they offer apple cider, donuts and freshly popped popcorn. Here are some interesting things I came across at the market.

The Barn At Todd Farm
I really enjoyed exploring Todd Farm and hunting through treasure troves of vintage objects and artworks. This flea market is in such a gorgeous location and is definitely a great spot to spend a leisurely Sunday morning. November 6, 2015 at 10:27 pmWhat a fun place! We have a flea market near here but it’s not really an “antiques fair”. I need to convince my husband or my mother-in-law to go with me to the Mobile Flea Market – I’ve hard that it is incredible and overwhelming and tons of fun. I want to go!
Thank you for sharing with us this week at Photo Friday!

November 6, 2015 at 4:50 amI would love to visit and rifle through the bric-a-brac. You’ve taken loads of great photos and I already feel like I’ve been there in person. Love the lavender photo and the mix of items in the Japanese Girl photo.

November 3, 2015 at 10:26 pmSo many great photos! Looking at and browsing thru antiquities is s interesting. I like when you discover a tool or artifact that was used to do something that modern machines do. It is a bit surprising to discover how things used to work.

November 3, 2015 at 5:02 pmI don’t go to flea markets because my house is full enough as it is, but I sure enjoyed looking at your pictures. My fav was the white dog and the chenille pumpkins. TFS!

November 3, 2015 at 4:35 pmAwwww.. I love the geese!
These markets are absolutely fascinating. We have one here where I picked up a couple of old French chairs that need reupholstering. (Not that I’ve got round to finishing them yet..) But even if there’s nothing to come home with, it’s still fun rummaging.

November 3, 2015 at 7:05 pmIt’s really cool how you get to buy old furniture and give it a whole new identity and life! I always like having a project on deck that way when the mood strikes you can get right to work. I have an old ladder that I am looking to refinish and turn it into home decor. Not sure when I’ll get started, but I am excited to see how it turns out. I do love rummaging as well, you get inspiration just taking a look at stuff sometimes. Good luck with the reupholstering, I bet they will turn out beautifully! Hope you are having a great week 🙂
