Just A Tad About Honest Tea

As I became passionate about organic gardening, I also became more aware of products that use natural ingredients.  During my research, I began to learn more about Fair Trade USA.  They focus on promoting quality products that protect the environment all while helping farmers in developing countries to fight poverty.  Through Fair Trade, I discovered naturally sweet Honest Tea!  They are not only Fair Trade Certified, but also USDA Organic.  Leaves used to make Honest Tea are hand plucked from tea gardens located in China and India.  They are then sweetened with ingredients like organic cane sugar, honey and agave syrup.  You can check out this source map to see where every ingredient you enjoy comes from.  I was excited to see that cranberry juice concentrate and maple syrup are both harvested close to home here in New England!  Along with their yummy line of teas, they also offer Honest Kids fruit juices, Honest Fizz sodas and Summer Refresher Honest Lemonade!

Beat the heat this summer with Honest Tea's five refreshing varieties of lemonade.  Ginger Lemonade and Mango Lemonade are available exclusively at Whole Foods Market.     I love this Giveaway! I love Lemons and Sugar. Honestly, I make my Lemonade with Honey instead of sugar because processed sugar being bad for you. I have to be Honest on an Honest Tea entry or I would have no chance of winning. Secret to Honest Tea (for if they ever want to make Honey instead of Sugar Lemonade) the acid in the Honey dissolves the Honey if you have the right ratio of honey to lemon juice. You just stir the honey in the lemon juice till the stirring is smooth then add water.

    I foresee a trip to my local Whole Foods store to buy some Honest lemonade. My kids would love it. I recently gave up drinking sodas and I’m getting bored with just water. I’ll need to try out their teas.
