[dropcap]W[/dropcap]elcome to Dishing It & Digging It. The temperatures have been steadily dropping here in New England. Last night it was a bone chilling 15° outside. Come Monday, we are supposed to get some snow but luckily it isn't supposed to stick! I've been keeping up with the photo a day challenge. I can't believe I've almost made it to 366 snaps a day!
I absolutely love growing amaryllis flowers around this time of year. Recently I've shared a guide to gifting and growing amaryllis. I'm also giving away a Round Birch Gift Kit featuring apple blossom amaryllis bulbs from Longfield Gardens. Stop by and enter today! I will be announcing a winner this Thursday, December 15!
A Holiday Guide To Gifting & Growing Amaryllis
If you are looking for a great read to get your mind off the snow and winter weather, check out The Suburban Micro-Farm by Amy Stross. I was given an advanced copy and wrote a review on this great gardening guide that will help you get your landscape into shape this spring! It is being released this Wednesday, December 14. It would make a great gift for the nature enthusiast!
