[dropcap]H[/dropcap]ello everyone! Welcome to Dishing It & Digging It. This is where we throw a party every Sunday, and you join in by sharing your latest and greatest blog posts with us! We are so excited to see what you have to share with us this week.
This week, it’s like I was off to the races in my garden. It can be such a busy, overwhelming and stressful time for us landscaping lovers around this time of year. Weeding, mulching, mowing, trimming, planting and the list goes on. Everybody rushes to the garden centers during Memorial Day weekend to get dibs on all the best plants before they get picked over. I’m doing my best to schedule everything in.
I’m still outside until the sunsets even with planning ahead. I’m not going to lie, my back aches and my hands are sore. It’s totally worth it though! This picture above is an Elephant Ear ‘Mojito’ bulb. I’m creating a container combination with it being the main focal point!
I recently shares a simple guide to growing strawberries over on the blog. Now is the perfect time to add some of these sweet and delicious fruits to your garden!
A Simple Guide to Growing Strawberries
Let me turn this party over to our host this week.
of Life and Linda
Hello everyone! It’s heating up! We have had some crazy weather. It was in the 90’s recently, then we had a cold snap. Right now, it is comfortable and I have been gardening. My husband and I have been bringing out the chair cushions and umbrellas.
My Posts this week:
National Wine Day
Do we really need a special day to drink wine? This post is also a special wish to my husband who recently had a birthday. I bought him one of his favorite bottles of wine and I also made a Roasted Vegetable Tart.
Monday is Memorial Day, so I want to say remember and honor

Thanks so much for stopping by abd for your kind comment about my front yard. Yes, those are phlox on the slope. They spread nicely and require no care at all. I only wish that they stayed in bloom longer than 2 weeks though. Thanks so much for hosting each week!!
Hugs,
