A bucket list item of mine is to see the cherry blossoms! A short trip to DC would be better than the long trip to Japan.

A few years ago, we planned on driving state to state, from west coast to the east coast. In our almost one month of travel, we only covered the west half of the country as we needed to change direction upon reaching OK because of some bad weather conditions. I haven’t been to the east coast and would love to explore it, too, someday.

I live in the northeast so all of these places are within reach. I never knew about the National Zoo, another good reason to go back to DC.
