May in Zone 6a New England is filled with shrubs bursting with color, flowers filling the air with that sweet scent we all missed and ornamental trees putting on undeniably spectacular shows. I'm very excited to participate in Garden Bloggers Bloom Day hosted by May Dreams Gardens.
Come take a look at what is blooming in my garden!
Want to participate in Garden Bloggers Bloom Day? Head out into the garden with a camera in hand and a little creativity and snap some pictures. Then on the 15th of every month link up and share the photos you have taken with other gardeners! Happy May everyone!

May 18, 2015 at 11:50 amLove the Azalea bush! Mine have struggled for a few years. They are a bright pink – but I’ve wondered if I should switch to Red. Yours are gorgeous.

May 19, 2015 at 1:54 pmSame here, the harsh New England winter this year crushed a part of the Azalea. Had to cut that part off and hope for the best! Luckily the rest of the bush is just fine. I really love the bright pink varieties as well! Thank you 🙂

May 21, 2015 at 1:47 pmThank you! Bright pink azaleas are gorgeous. My azalea bush got damaged from all the ice and snow we had in New England this winter. I was able to cut some of the damaged pieces out and it seems to have bounced back! I would totally recommend these hardy azaleas, I look forward to them blooming every year! 🙂
