Project 366 Weeks 15 & 16

The 366 Photo Challenge 2016

Everything is starting to come to life!  The crabapple trees are starting to get their blossoms.  The lilacs and magnolias are almost ready to bloom.  My squirrel feeder is back in business with some fresh corn cobs, and my toad abode is ready to be occupied.  I excitedly set up my new Greenstalk stackable vertical garden planter.  It is now filled to the brim with new strawberry plants.  Time to sit back and watch them ripen!  It's been raining here in New England, and I'm hoping April showers truly do bring May flowers.  The waterfowl are loving their daily swim adventures again.  Phoebe, my Toulouse goose, is still laying her giant, Godzilla sized eggs.  Come with me and explore my world in pictures.

Patiently waiting for the lilac bushes to bloom! I'm seeing some progress 💜

Day 109 | 366 {fresh}

Put a fresh corn cob on the squirrel feeder today. It's that time of year again! 🤗

Day 110 | 366 {2:00 pm}

The first tulip has finally bloomed! Looks like it made it through the cold snap that hit New England earlier this month. Love the soft butter yellow tone of this pretty flower!

When I was little, I didn't know these flowers were called muscari. I'd call them the "tiny purple dots" flower and my mom always knew exactly what I was saying! 😋

Day 112 | 366 {my camera}

Project 366 Weeks 15 & 16 | angiethefreckledrose.com

My camera with my scarf strap! It may be nothing fancy, but I wouldn't leave home without it 😀 I've traveled different places with it, had many animals lick and sniff this lens & learned so much while using it! I feel like it is a part of me and helps me show people how I see the world. Shout out to anyone who has a major bond with their camera!

Day 113 | 366 {a collection}

So this happened today! The weather in New England has finally become nice enough to start getting serious in the garden. Putting together my Greenstalk Garden stackable vertical planter! Prepping my strawberries for the new 5 tier stackable system. Here is one of the tiers I am filling with Bonnie Plants Quinault strawberries! Pictures of it all set up coming soon!

Day 114 | 366 {kindness}

Always show kindness to even the smallest of creatures. Toads are always welcome in my garden 🐸🍃🍄

Day 115 | 366 {Sunday morning}

Magnolias in the morning. The sun felt so comforting & warm today.

When life gives you rain, put on a cute pair of rain boots! 🌧

Day 117 | 366 {free choice}

As happy as a duck napping in the grass! Little Wing living the life 👌

Day 118 | 366 {what I see}

So excited to see a world filled with green again 🍃

Day 119 | 366 {technology}

Project 366 Weeks 15 & 16 | angiethefreckledrose.com

Thursday night favorites. BarkTHINS and The Bethadilly Challenge 🌸 I may have a slight obsession with these bite sized pieces of dark chocolate right now. You know it's bad when you buy multiple bags just to get you through the week! They are seriously the perfect mix of salty & sweet. Glad technology has connected me with so many talented photographers participating in this challenge. I look forward to seeing your awesome snaps everyday! 💕

Day 120 | 366 {on the floor}

Fresh eggs on the floor. As suggested by my friend Ria, here is a fun egg size comparison shot. On the left is a Toulouse goose egg and on the right is a tiny bantam chicken egg 😮 Crazy right?

Day 121 | 366 {still}

Still waiting on these lilacs to bloom. Getting pretty close! What are you waiting on to bloom?

My 366 So Far

April Calendar

Is your yard starting to become filled with colorful blooms again?  What's one thing you are looking forward to this May?  Tell me all about it in the comment section below.  I'm so excited to celebrate Mother's Day, enjoy peonies flowering and for strawberry picking season!  Hopefully my peppers and tomatoes grown from seed can be transplanted to my vegetable garden once it warms up a bit.  Thank you for following my photography journey and don't forget to check out my pictures on Instagram @thefreckledrose.

    So far I haven’t had the stick-to-it-iveness to complete a 366. Perhaps I will try again.
    Good work on your part!
