I have been spending each sunny day this month outside covered in dirt. Planting season is in full swing. The vegetable garden is underway with garlic and greens growing. The strawberry patch is in full bloom. My honeysuckle vine is just beginning to flower. It is the perfect time to add annuals like petunias and cosmos to the flower garden. The peony plants are beginning to grow tall. I can't wait to watch them bloom later this month. The farm is full of fuzzy baby chickens and an abundance of activity. Weekends have been filled with planting containers and hanging baskets. Come see more of what I've been up to below.

May 17, 2016 at 4:17 amGorgeous photos and I can see why you are spending so much time outside. It looks like lovely weather. I’m not a fan of the alarm clock either, especially because I’m not the one that has to get up. I manage to sleep through Mr Sparky’s alarm now that I work until midnight.
We are at the end of Autumn which means we have some things happening in our vege patch too. I live in the tropics so Summer is pretty much a no go with growing anything much unless you keep it covered, it gets too hot and then the rains come and everything gets too wet. We attempt to grow pretty much everything over the cooler months.
